Spain - the land of paella, flamenco dance and beautiful heritage is undoubtedly a bucket list destination for all of us. Especially for a Bollywood fan like me after watching Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Spain is a country that has become a must-visit. And while going there right now may not currently be in the books, I can live vicariously by recreating its delicious coffee offerings. Coffee culture in Europe is some of the best in the world and Spain offers an amazing variety of coffee. 1. Cafe Bombon
The first coffee recipe is going to be a treat for all you sweet coffee lovers. This three-layered drink is super delicious and aesthetically pleasing as well! It is similar to Vietnamese coffee but is topped with frothy milk to make it extra creamy. For your Cafe Bombon you will need:
- 2 tsps of Impulse Coffees Mocha pe Chauka
- One shot of water
- 1tbsp of condensed milk
- 50 ml of milk
Start by dissolving 2 tsp of Impulse Coffees Mocha pe Chauka in some hot water. In a clear glass, add 1 tbsp of condensed milk and slowly pour the hot shot of coffee. Froth your milk in a separate cup and add it on top of your clear cup. In just three simple steps your super delicious Cafe Bombon is ready!
2. Carajillo
If you want a coffee cocktail, a Carajillo is super simple and delicious! It requires just 2 ingredients - Coffee and a brandy of your choice. A Carajillo is super popular as an after-dinner drink and will surely get your party started! It is locally made using Licor 43 which is a Spanish liqueur with notes of vanilla and citrus.
To recreate a Carajillo in your kitchen, all you need is:
- 2 tsps of Impulse Coffees Vichaar over Vanilla
- A brandy of your choice (Preferably something with sweeter notes.)
- Water
- Ice
In a tall glass, add 2 tsp of Impulse Coffees Vichaar over Vanilla and top it with chilled water. Add 2 tbps of brandy (or as per your liking) and mix well. It is optional, but you can squeeze a few drops of lemon to add citrus notes to your Carajillo. Add some ice and your super delicious Carajillo is ready!
