Our Coffee Because Adulting is Hard t-shirt in a pastel pink color is bold, relatable, quirky, and sassy! This t-shirt hits home since we are all at a phase where we have realized adulting is not what we dreamt of as children. But hey! We must move on and accept that with age comes responsibilities, deadlines, and bills. And how do we get things done? By downing a mug of our favorite coffee of course!

Before diving into our thought process behind designing Impulse Coffees’ newest apparel addition, let us walk you through why we launched a not-merch apparel collection while being a coffee brand. 

Why did we launch an apparel collection?

While being a predominantly premium instant coffee brand, we decided to launch our apparel collection in September 2023. And no, by launching our apparel collection, we didn’t mean to start merchandising to take forward the name of our brand. If you look at our apparel collection, you’ll notice it’s full of fun and quirky coffee-focused designs, not brand-based at all!

Our apparel line is all about celebrating coffee culture and connecting with fellow caffeine enthusiasts. Each design is unique and centered around our love for coffee. From Woke Up and Chose Coffee to Espresso Yourself, and I Am Pro-caffeinating to Iced Coffee Is My Lover, our shirts are designed to resonate with your coffee-loving soul. They are meant to start conversations with fellow coffee lovers. 

Our clothing design process starts with fabric and color selection, design and quoting, and ends with the fit selection. 

Fabric Selection

Our first set of apparel was launched in terry cotton. Imagine the kind of fabric feel you find in the softest and comfiest hoodies but in a t-shirt without leaving any fabric fluff. This type of fabric is usually thicker and suitable for pleasant to cold weather. 

As summer dawned upon us, we began rethinking our fabric choices and fixated on a more summer-friendly fabric. 

Mercerized cotton is light and breathable, perfect for hot summers by the pool, drinking your favorite iced coffee. It isn’t transparent and you can also use it for layering in pleasant climates. In conclusion, you can wear this shirt all year round. 

Color Selection

All the clothing pieces in our apparel collection flaunt a variety of unique colors, from rich brown and soothing lavender to sunny yellow and bold pink. When it came to choosing the perfect color for the Coffee Because Adulting Is Hard t-shirt, pink was the clear winner. At Impulse Coffees, we’re all about breaking stereotypes. Pink isn’t just a “feminine” color anymore; it’s a statement, a vibe, and, frankly, a whole mood. We believe any gender can rock pink and look fabulous doing it!

Design Selection
